• Account data: Email address and hashed password for authentication
• User content: Notes, passwords (encrypted), and tasks you create
• Usage data: Basic app usage for improving the service
• Payment data: Handled entirely by Paddle — we never see your card details

• To provide and maintain the Service
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account
• To process subscription payments via Paddle
• To send important service notifications (no marketing spam)
• To improve app performance and fix bugs

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase/Firestore with the following protections:

• All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Vault passwords are SHA-256 hashed before storage
• Firebase Security Rules restrict access to your own data only
• No other user can access your notes, passwords, or tasks

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase: Authentication and data storage
• Paddle: Payment processing for Pro subscriptions
• Netlify: App hosting

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their data practices.

6. Your Rights

• Access: You can view all your data within the app
• Delete: You can delete your account and all data from Settings
• Export: Contact us to request a copy of your data
• Correction: You can update your information at any time

7. Cookies

VAULT uses minimal cookies only for authentication purposes (Firebase Auth session). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

VAULT is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
